About us

Sunrock is the leading European developer of large-scale solar roof and integrated clean energy solutions, dedicated to crafting bespoke energy strategies for logistical real estate owners, tenants, and commercial and industrial (C&I) clients. Our Next Energy Solutions cover everything from solar systems and Battery energy storage systems (BESS) to asset management and clear, actionable dashboards. We manage all aspects of solar projects, including feasibility studies, subsidy applications, financing, insurance, and the operation and management of solar parks, ensuring optimal usage of the clean energy generated.
 Founded in the Netherlands in 2012 as a start-up focused on solar energy for logistics real estate, Sunrock has grown to over 160 employees operating in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. In 2020 COFRA acquired Sunrock to become part of their force for good, and in 2024, we became BCorp certified, highlighting our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
