About us
Up Norway contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint and offsetting the remaining emissions through Trefadder. Norway is taking part in a collective sustainability shift, and like most responsible corporations, our goal is to become climate neutral. We want to reduce our emissions and make more environmentally friendly choices. In addition, we want to contribute with climate compensatory measures for afforestation through Trefadder. This contribution makes our employees climate neutral! We view Trefadder as a long-term collaborator. Together, we contribute to decelerating the severe climate change we are facing in Norway, in addition to the rest of the world. On our ‘Discovery Route’ you can experience perhaps Norway’s most sustainable trip – Including a visit to the Trefadder climate initiative at the Hagalid Mountain Farm located on the Norwegian West Coast. In these idyllic surroundings, you will experience the Hagalid family home, their café and gallery. The art gallery offers homemade meals based on Norwegian and local tradition with a twist using local products, often from the garden or forest. Amongst stunning fjord views, The Hagalid Mountain farm is also the home of one hundred sheep, and soon – a million trees!
