About us

The vision of the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification is to be the lead agency in the preservation, conservation and protection of the country’s environment and to ensuring that environmental  consideration is at the heart of Barbados’ Sustainable Development agenda.
The Mission of the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification is:
“To formulate and implement environmental management programmes that:
Facilitate the sustainable use of our natural resources;
Complement the national, social and economic development agenda; and
Include stakeholder input into decision making.”
