About us
The Environment and Climate Fund was first established as the “Environmental Protection Fund” by Government Decision No. 188 of 1998 on the basis of Article 34 of the Environmental Protection Law. Government Decree No. 189 of 2012 approved the reorganization and staffing of the Environmental Protection Fund and the beginning of its independent activity. At the meeting of the State Great Khural on February 9, 2017, the activities of the Environmental Protection Fund were expanded and transformed into the Environmental and Climate Fund.
