About us
The Association of Ecological Movements of Slovenia - ZEG is a federation of associations, which voluntarily brings together environmental associations, municipal and regional environmental associations, federations and other associations and federations to pursue common goals in the development and protection of the environment. The Association of Ecological Movements of Slovenia - ZEG now has over 2680 members. The aim of the Slovenian Federation of Ecological Movements remains to establish new associations to meet the need for environmental protection. ZEG belongs to the sphere of civil society. It works for the public good and without concession. The members of ZEG are independent in their work, but they have to comply with the decisions and decisions taken by them through their representatives in the bodies of the federation. The Association cooperates with local authorities, the wider community, public authorities and institutions, businesses and other domestic and foreign organisations.
