About us
The Big Scrub Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds to facilitate the conservation of Australia’s critically endangered lowland subtropical rainforest and its many threatened species. The Foundation is the sister organisation of Big Scrub Landcare, one of Australia’s leading and most successful Landcare groups. One of the Foundations primary goals is contributing to the funding of Big Scrub Landcare’s rainforest restoration projects. The Foundation is a not-for-profit community organisation that is registered as a charity with the Australian Government. It has deductible gift recipient status, which enables donors to receive a tax deduction for donations to the Foundation of more than $2.
