About us

The Buddhist Environment Solidarity worked with the Green Temple this year as well as last year to overcome the climate crisis and ecological crisis that humanity currently has on the basis of the Buddha's teachings of respect for life.
Meanwhile, we conducted an ecological release campaign to save the ecosystem, planting willows along rivers from spring to autumn, and feeding white cranes in winter. It is an ecological release that purifies rivers by planting willows, restores river ecosystems, and even functions to absorb fine dust and carbon. Also, in winter, we conducted feeding and release so that winter birds can feed in a healthy way. Planting trees and feeding red-crowned cranes is very rewarding, as it seems to pay off a small debt to nature.
In addition, we visited temples, organizations, schools, and welfare centers across the country to talk about the realities of climate and ecological crises and actions to overcome them in various places, from infants to the elderly.
