About us
The Chaleur Bay Watershed Group (CBWG) took off on August 28th of 2000. The office is located in Nigadoo, New Brunswick, but the group includes many municipalities including Beresford, Robertville, Nigadoo, Petit-Rocher, Pointe-Verte, Belledune and Jacquet River. Bringing together some of the most beautiful rivers in the province, the group's territory covers an approximate area of 1,400 km². The information collected through our field monitoring is used to help managers make decisions about the environment at local and provincial levels. We work with community members, entrepreneurs and government officials. In addition, we report the issues and problems identified in our territory to the authorities.
