About us
Conservation Key is an IRS-recognized non-profit organization. We tackle rising issues by developing robust communication and outreach strategies that get critical conservation education to communities being impacted by climate change, reef habitat loss, and marine diseases such as SCTLD and the mysterious ailment causing Diadema urchin die-offs. At the core of our organization is our monthly coral survey and fish count program, we use the latest in submersible drone technology to capture surveys of our Florida Reef Tract. By having a better grasp of what areas of our reef are diseased, bleached, or healthy we can enact change to protect our imperiled reefs.
