EcoHimal Nepal is a national non-government organization founded in 2009, with the aim of achieving Sustainable Development through Community Empowerment in rural mountain areas. It aims to enchance livelihood of unreached and marginalized communities through grassroots initiatives and in-depth involvement, without disturbing local ecology and social and cultural structure . “Participation - Ownership - Sustainability” is the main theme of the organization.
