About us

EERC is a non-profit scientific research organization with a mission to promote quality research and build and develop human capacity through training and project implementations to promote livelihood development and sustainable environments. EERC prioritizes building the capacity of stakeholders, particularly young researchers, government officials, civil society organizations, and the private sector, to promote inclusive and sustainable development outcomes. Our vision is to catalyze and promote inclusiveness in economic growth, natural resource conservation, and sustainable environmental
management practices through research, capacity building, and advocacy to support African countries on a
pathway to sustainable development. The goal is to develop partnerships and leverage donor funding to
conduct quality research and build the capacity of African researchers, particularly policy actors, to drive scalable .and impactful change within the African continent
