Environmental Initiative

About us

Belarusian Public Association "Environmental Initiative" is a republican public organization, established in 2003 with the aim to participate in solving environmental problems in the Republic of Belarus by carrying out activities aimed at environmental protection, as well as promoting rational use of natural resources. 

The Belarusian Public Association "Environmental Initiative" works in all regions of Belarus, and more than 400 people are members and volunteers of the organization. 

The organization works to solve the problem of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), to improve the country's system of hazardous waste management, to conserve biodiversity, mitigate climate change, to promote regional development and to educate people about the environment.
