About us
Environmental Watch Association of Tanzania (EWAT) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization for environmental conservation in Tanzania. On 21st February 2002, was inaugurated as Environmental Watch Club (EWC) at SUA by Mr. Erick Mugurusi, the Director of the environment in the Vice President’s Office. Later, on 31st January 2007, Environmental Watch Club was officially transformed to the Environmental Watch Association of Tanzania (EWAT) with registration number SO. NO.14637 under the society’s ordinance of 1954 with headquarters at Solomon Mahlangu Campus of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) under the Faculty of Science
