About us

The purpose of the foundation Green Future  is to present and implement new policy alternatives for the 21st century on environmental issues based on the paradigm of sustainable development.

 The Foundation Green Future carries out the following:
– Ecology field (monitoring of bird ecology in Hongjecheon and Bamseom Island, ecology expert forum to expand citizen participation, monitoring of citizen participation in the park’s friends and Nanji ecological wetland support and establishment of local networks, campaign to promote biodiversity of green spaces in parks, and activation of Seoul’s wildlife protection zone Education for citizen science monitoring group for the purpose of education)
– Water sector (promotion and publicity campaign for 1,000 households to directly drink tap water in Seoul, education to become a tap water doctor in 10 hours, research on the establishment of integrated water management evaluation indicators and evaluation system, Dr. Tap water campaign 'Tap Tap Trail Training', citizen ombudsman to reflect correct tap water information in terrestrial broadcasting)
– Energy/climate change field (operating a school where citizens participate in energy to educate the next generation, conducting a survey on energy use in Seoul and spreading energy-saving lifestyles) , environmental education for adaptation to climate change, publicity and campaign activities to respond to climate change, eco-friendly transportation and holiday campaigns, survey on the condition of open air conditioning for energy-poor people in Seoul, energy citizen scientist training course, PhD)
– Environmental health and living Environmental sector (education, support and care for safe food for low-income youth, school monitoring and youth research group, multi-use facility waste monitoring)
– Resource recycling sector (resource recycling village creation, campaign to reduce single-use delivery containers, resource circulation ) Practical education, volunteer campaign on International Coastal Cleanup Day).
