Green Organic Farmers (GOF) is a group of organic farmers. They have been producing organic green leaves (kale, spinach and silver beet) since early 2000. Due to the expansion of the organic sector, GOF decides to cultivate two new organic crops – canola and potatoes. After some negotiations, GOF and Monsaint Ltd (M) enter into a four-year contract under which M promises to supply organic seeds in March each year for $500,000, payable on delivery.
