About us
Island Development and Environmental Awareness Society (IDEAS) is a non-governmental, youth organization located in HAA ALIF Atoll, KELAA. IDEAS was founded in 2002. IDEAS’s mission is to promote socio-economic development of youth, women, disabled and the community, as well as to promote sustainable development in the Maldive islands. IDEAS also believes that sustainable development can be achieved through good democratic, equitable governance and a prosperous society can be built only through achieving constructive civic participation.
