About us
Nature Waste Management Limited as company, Is a licensed and registered Ugandan waste management company started and managed by Ugandans in the suburbs of Kampala where incessant disposal of nature waste as well as inefficient waste management practices are rampant. The proprietors are youthful environmentalists that were driven by the urge to utilize the high volumes of waste that are a common sight within their community in a manner that is sustainably friendly to the environment. Noting that Uganda’s towns and cities are a hub of waste litter and landfills where heaps of waste are dumped mindless of the fact that plastic waste, metal waste, paper waste, animal and plant waste interact differently with the environment, the initiative was borne to hatch more selective waste management mechanisms for sustainable co-existence. The company was founded with the awareness that environmental conservation is at the forefront of efforts by countries to address the rapid rate of current global climate change, a topical issue among the sustainable development goals and indeed Uganda’s aspiration to have clean and safe cities envisioned by the country for 2040.
