About us
The Uruguayan Network of Environmental NGOs is a second degree entity, created with the purpose of bringing together civil society organizations united by a common objective of knowledge, defense and preservation of the physical, biological and cultural environment. It was founded on October 1, 1990. Its national network character builds a strong link of cooperation between local organizations, to increase the role of civil society in actions and practices of environmental monitoring at local, sub-regional and national levels, optimizing the capacities of its members in the preservation and care of natural resources.
