About us

The Ekopolis Foundation has 23 years of experience and knowledge in managing projects and grant-making programmes focused on environmental sustainability development of civil society.

The Foundation supports the activities of NGOs, schools, municipalities and informal initiatives and works with them on projects contributing to improvement of the environment and increasing the public participation.

Since 1991, the foundation supported 2,688 projects by 12,352,953 EUR and implemented various projects at national and international levels. The Foundation is a member of the Environmental Partnership Association; the European Cycling Federation; the European Greenway Association; and, a member of Civilscape, a European NGO network designed to support the European Landscape Convention.
