About us
The EPA’s Stop Food Waste programme was initiated in June 2009 to promote food waste prevention and home composting in response to the need to reduce the amount of food waste going to landfill. The programme is designed to empower consumers to reduce food waste by rethinking how they shop, store, cook and re-use food.
