About us
The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) is a marine industry-led organization of environmental stewards preserving the marine environment by promoting sustainable marine industry best practices and educating seafarers, students, and the public about the need and strategies for protecting global ocean, lake, and river resources. Our commitment is to educate on the importance of protecting the marine environment and actively engage with the marine industry, communities, and partners to preserve our waterways! The ocean, lakes, and rivers are the cradle of life but are seriously endangered by pollution on a global basis. Current environmental controls and regulations are inadequate.
