Yayasan Mitra Insani (YMI) is a non-governmental organization in the form of a foundation.

The establishment of this institution is dedicated to the achievement of fair environmental management, both ecologically and socially, culturally and economically in rural areas and around forests.

Yayasan Mitra Insani (YMI) is an organization established to dedicate knowledge and concern for the environmental, social, cultural and economic conditions of the people in Riau Province.
Mitra Insani is committed to carrying out and striving for the implementation of values in each of its activities. The values of openness (transparency), participation (involvement) and accountability (responsibility) are the basis for the implementation of fair and equal activities. 

Mitra Insani Foundation believes that the common paradigm and understanding, as well as the commitment and serious alignment of various parties for community and rural development, will have a positive impact in overcoming problems and managing natural resources in a sustainable manner.
