Zero Waste Romania is a non-profit, apolitical, independent organisation that works to conserve resources and eliminate waste. Zero Waste Romania offers free advice and support to local communities in the transition to better waste management and reducing by over 90% the amount of waste stored in landfills. Waste is a resource that can be reused. Thus, Zero Waste Romania promotes waste prevention, through changes in design, production and consumption, recovery of resources in a safe and sustainable way, without incinerators or other toxic technologies. Zero Waste Romania’s mission is to facilitate the transition to a circular economy.
