About us

Mamukko is a brand of upcycled lifestyle bags and accessories. We are husband and wife team, Nora, a seamstress, and Attila Magyar, 6th generation leather worker.

My brother Levente Magyar, co-founded our multiple award-winning company in our new home Kinsale, Co, Cork in 2011. Levente’s studies in fine art combined with our Hungarian leather-crafting heritage, and personal interests in environmental issues, inspired us to become 1st generation up-cyclers. With salvaged nautical materials in our Irish coastal hometown, we embraced our parents’ training and trade secrets, and our new adventure, Mamukko, was born.
