Our impact target is: water. The textile industry is an extremely thirsty Industry. It’s using and abusing water. There is an immense "virtual water flow" going on that violates the right to clean drinking water. Often from production countries that are already suffering from a shortage of clean drinking water, the textile industry is virtually exporting billions of liters of water used for textile industry, to richer areas where textiles are consumed. Textile trade is in fact trade in clean water.
