About us
Here at the Juara Turtle Project, we run a number of volunteer based conservation projects to manage the impact of pollution and threats to the environment. Tioman Island has some of the world’s most pristine coral reefs that facilitate a flourishing ecosystem. However, that system is constantly under threat due to unsustainable practices on a local and global scale. We work extensively with the community to inform, educate and develop sustainable practices that will hopefully leave the island as pristine for future generations.
