About us

SeaClear — short for SEarch, identificAtion and Collection of marine Litter with Autonomous Robots — is a Horizon 2020 funded project that aims to solve, with the help of robots and artificial intelligence, one of the most important environmental problems: ocean litter.

Seaclear 2.0 is an environmental project from the Netherlands that is creating a squad of robotic scavengers to help clean the Mediterranean Sea of plastic and other debris.

It is already known that such eco-squad includes underwater drones, robotic arms, and rovers.

The work of the devices will be coordinated from the ship, with which they will be connected by cables.
