About us

Bigodi Turacos for Conservation Centre (BTCC), is a youth-led Ugandan Resident Charity, secular developmental non-governmental and not-for-profit organization formed in 2019 with amalgamation of social reformers from different sects of social workers, public administrators, and sociologists. Legality BTCC is currently gained.

The organization's main focus is to give solution to major challenges concerning climate change by giving innovative and creative mitigations and adaptation measures. Also focuses on solving environmental challenges with solutions that are friendly to nature and humanity. It also extends its focus on improvement of social economic livelihoods of the targeted area through mitigating and adapting climate change challenges and eco-friendly activities like smart agriculture, outdoor and indoor air and waste management, tree planting. The eye Centre of an organization in implementing its programs targets the most marginalized group of people including women, children, youth, gender minorities and people with disabilities.
