About us

Ecolibrium is a non-profit organization based in Nova Friburgo, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, dedicated to environmental regeneration and human development. Recognized as a public-interest association, it works to restore balance between people and nature through education, sustainability, and social inclusion.

Ecolibrium integrates permaculture, agroforestry, bioconstruction, and community-based learning to address social and environmental challenges in practical ways. Its initiatives include educational programs for young people, agroforestry projects for ecosystem restoration and local livelihoods, the development of a multifunctional bioconstruction space, and direct support for families and communities.

Through hands-on learning and collaborative action, Ecolibrium connects volunteers, farmers, students, and educators, creating regenerative solutions with lasting social and environmental impact.
