About us

Ecoparsec is an environmental non-governmental organization operating at the intersection of civic tech, open spatial data, and independent media.

Our mission is to make environmental data accessible, transparent, and actionable for everyone. We develop digital platforms to tackle ecological challenges and empower communities to protect nature.

Core Focus Areas:
- Civic Tech & Open Data: Developing open interactive mapping platforms (including ecomap.ngo and the specialized ZooMap layer) to monitor ecological data, urban environment, and biodiversity.
- Environmental Media: Producing educational content, video reports, and media projects via EcoparsecTV to raise public awareness about critical environmental issues.
- Animal Welfare & Biodiversity: Implementing field initiatives for urban biodiversity preservation, humane stray animal management, and ecosystem restoration.
- Advocacy & Collaboration: Engaging with policy advisory bodies, international civil society partners, and local environmental initiatives.
